Run Till You Vomit Mix

Hey champs,

If there's one thing I know this group of guys likes to do is to exercise at least four hours every day. This is a high energy mix from your pal j. Keith to keep you wide awake while spinning, ab crunching, and running laps around the competition. "Run Till You Vomit" is not to be listened to by the soft hearted or weak willed. Here's a breakdown of the 46 action packed minutes.

Run Till You Vomit Mix

1) Saul Williams "List of Demands Reparations"
In "Slam" Saul Williams had a nifty scene where he dropped knowledge in a prison yard. This track will simply help you drop pounds. A good start to get moving.

2) Ms. John Soda "Go Check"
You too can burn thousands of calories to Ms. John Soda. First heard Ms. John Soda on KALX a handful of years back. They're from Germany. Like the ShamWow.

3) Black Milk "Give The Drummer Sum"
Short breaths. Pump your arms. Gotta make at least one lap around Lake Merritt.

4) Muscles (Remix: Shazam feat. Reija) "Sweaty"
Feel the burn. Let the sweat drip. "And we'll be workin' all night cause its pumping."
"Because we hugged a few times and it was special" sounds like, to me, "Because we humped two times and it was special."

5) The Black Ghosts "Any Way You Choose To Give It (Boy 8 Bit Mix)"
Nike+ipod allows a runner to select a POWER SONG, which is a track more motivational than any other. One button and POW, you're back in the groove. If I were to actually set up this feature this song would be my selection. Gets. Me. Going. Fact: "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor is the most often set Power Song on Nike+ipod units.

6) Gameboy/Gamegirl "Fruit Salad (CSK OK Remix)"
"And I wanna pop some cherries but it seems the price is steep." No pain, no gain. Ladies love a fit man. Wealth accomplishes the same reaction.

7) Trouble Andrew "Run - Hide"
Run. Hiding optional. This ditty can be found on Top Ranking: A Diplo Dub.

8) Ted & Francis "Erlend"
Melancholy workout. It's currently winter where Ted & Francis live.

9) Ming & Ping "Delete"
My second most listened to song on my all-time ipod playlist. Not particularly crisp beat construction, but awfully fun. Plus, these twin brother from Hong Kong put together an amazing live show. And they have a special secret only obvious if you catch them in person. Special thanks to Mike Senese for a night of sweaty dancing as he first introduced me to Ming & Ping a few years back. Calories burned that night: 800.

10) Alaska In Winter "Berlin"
Move your legs crazy directions when the bass drops at 1:04. Stretch first.

11) Sparklehorse "Someday I Will Treat You Good"
Empire of the Sun's "Walking On A Dream" is a better cool down song, but we've all heard it. So Sparklehorse, much different from my fav "Gold Days," rocks us to the finish line.

Towel off. See you in the shower. Don't forget to vomit.
